WP3 aims to design the pedagogical framework (PF) as well as mapping up accreditation rules and practices in the involved countries.

Description of the work
A PF will be developed, integrating four learning strategies (Task3.1): 1) learner-centred instructional design; 2) transformative use of ICTs; 3) problem-based learning; and 4) online student-tutor-peers interactions. It will enable new, effective ways of doing things by providing stronger social and networking activities (e.g.,Wikis, Blogs, virtual field trips). Description of the accreditation and recognition rules and processes in the partner countries will be carried out (Task3.2) on: a) course content; b) instructional staff; and c) organization. The ESD curriculum design will focus on an interdisciplinary approach addressing the four pillars (environment, society, culture, economy) of SD. It will make use of ICTs in three ways: 1) provide opportunities to target groups for reflective practice; 2) use open source ICT tools and ESD-related learning objects available in the Web; 3) use ICTs to develop interactive, interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary ESD learning activities. Know-how will be transferred from the LLP 3-LENSUS (Lifelong Learning Network for Sustainable Development) and eLearning (Virtual Campus for Sustainable Europe) implemented by P5 as well as from other partners who are implementing ESD-related Master programmes (P4,P6,P7).
